It was made by Messenger & Son of England. It measure 22" high and 20" wide at the widest point. Glass globes are 8 1/2" high. Circa, 1835. Heavy Lamp. It will weigh approx. 40 pounds when boxed. Lamp has been converted to electric at some point and they did a nice job. Marked on the lamp: Messenger & Son, 83 Hutton Gardens, Birmingham. Manufacture for Alfred Weiles? or Wells? (hard to read) of Boston. Gardner Messenger was a lamp manufacturer in Birmingham England. CONDITION: No dings or dents that I can see, couple of minor spots of oxidation. Chimney and Prisms are most likely 20th century. Chimneys are free from chips & cracks. One prisms needs a hanging wire. Glass chimneys & prisms will be shipped in a separate box. General Cleaning is all that's needed. ( WE DON'T CLEAN, POLISH OR REPAIR ANYTHING ) SHIPPING: Priority shipping will cost $125.00 plus insurance.   All items over $100 must be insured.
