Mitchell Engraved by J.H. Young This is not a copy! Its an original antique map from an old atlas that had fallen apart. This is framed with a black and maroon veneer solid wood and an acid free fabric look mat. I am a picture framer, so if you want a different style frame or mat I am happy to change it. Here is a sample of another frame I could use.   The outside of the frame measures 14 x 16 The  map is 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 Light blue pastel hand coloring. Indian Territory, lots of forts and railroads. Lots of Indian lands. A few age spots, but other then that this map is in great condition for its age. Below is, in my opinion the best frame and mat for this antique Texas map. The blue in the frame picks up the blue in the map, and the rough burl veneer gives an antique worn look to the frame package.
