MEDIEVAL MINIATURE, illuminated, dated about 1460 A.D., *Nobleman on a white horse holding a falcon*. Delicate amazing painting on vellum from a medieval Book of Hours, France/Paris. The Calendar for May including a number of local provincial saints. Manuscript leaf from a richly decorated Medieval Book of Hours with one arched miniature. Textura and Initials in gold, blue, red, brown and white. Decorated with rich floral borders and burnished gold.   Ca. max. size of the leaf: 6.16" height x 4.44" (15.4 height x 11.1 cm).   Condition: tempera painting and textura on vellum. Leaf a little wavy. Illuminated with burnished gold, the gold is good preserved. In view of the high age in good condition with few traces of aging, NO damages. Schoenes, mittelalterliches Manuscriptblatt mit feiner, floraler Borduere. Textura und Initialen in poliertem Gold, blau, rot, braun und weiss.    Ca. max. Masse, ganzes Blatt:  15.4 hoch x 11.1 cm.
