The design is pretty, a repeat pattern in lovely soft colours. It is not backed, but is in good condition, although aged. The dimensions are: 3" wide (8 cm) by 14  1/2" (37 cm) long. It is useful for the edge of a cushion or possibly framed. I would not recommend washing this piece because there is every chance of the wool running as the colours are not always fast on earlier pieces, which this is (mid 1800's I would say). Please remember with vintage or antique textiles they are not perfect (unless I happen to mention they are!) so please do not expect that (believe me some people do!).
