Large size hand formed pottery Head.  The head features stylized incised eyes, turban wrap headdress and typical Olmec features characterize by the parted lips with a slight downturn at the corners and jutting chin.Traces of red pigment in turban.Nicely sized piece with excellent eye appeal. Material: Hand-formed red-buff pottery. Condition: Head from a larger figure, intact as pictured.  No repairs. Height: 4 in. (10.2 cm). Custom mount included--overall mounted height 6-1/8 in.
