Beautiful  Large Bronze Figure of Osiris We are pleased to offer this quality impressively sized Bronze Osiris from the Late Period, ca. 663-400 BC. The god stands frontally feet together and holds a crook and flail at chest.  The atef crown features the uraeus (protective uprearing cobra) with the body of the cobra running the vertical length of the crown. Very finely detailed facial features, Uraeus, crook & flail, false beard, etc. Stands on a integral plinth with vestigial tanged end. Exquisite. . Beautiful dark olive brown patina.
