Description
Original Turn of the Century Kukuri (kukri, khukuri). Comes with newly made reproduction scabbard (a $35 value, currently available from Atlanta Cutlery). This is a heavy weight 14” blade marked along the top in Devangari script (I was unable to have it translated). Long associated with the elite Gurkha Regiments of the British Army, the Kukri (Kukhuri, Kukuri) is the famous fighting knife carried by these esteemed warriors. RJ was particularly fond of these legendary weapons and owned and displayed several in his office. This is from the personal collection of the late author Robert Jordan whose bestselling Wheel of Time series of books is hugely popular throughout the world. The buyer will be provided with a letter of authenticity, signed by RJ’s widow and his company’s official armorer, to accompany this item. Satisfaction guaranteed; one week inspection. You must be at least 18 to bid on this item. Shipping only to USA address. Paypal, cashier’s checks, and money orders accepted.
