Kotzebue, Augustus von. Translated from the German, by the Rev. Benjamin Beresford, English lecturer to the Queen of Prussia. 3 Vols. London: printed for R. Phillips, 1802, 278, 271, 226 pp. 12mo. Frontispiece. Half morocco, with marbled boards and endpapers, all spines chipped, all hinges cracked, internally a very good copy, all edges marbled. Kotzebue first went to Russia as secretary to the head of the General-Government at St. Petersburg, and he soon rose to high office in Estonia. After a spell as a theatre director in Vienna, and some time in Weimar, he returned to Russia in 1800.
