WONDERFUL old table is goatskin vellum on a wood base, it has a tag underneath designed by Sally Sirkin Lewis for J Robert Scott Los Angeles California, it is very large, 56" long 18 1/2" wide and 32" tall. Quite a remarkable piece by a VERY famous designer, I thought it was Karl Springer who we all know, in the style of surely, really, really well designed. There is some lifting on the very edge joins of goat skins, can be rectified, and is not unsightly damage, just age related, these piece do this I understand almost always, it actually shows beautifully, especially one side, remember though, not perfect, in VINTAGE as found condition. I bought it at a Rancho Santa Fe Estate sale a few months back and was told by the lady selling it she had paid $4,000. for it 20 years ago from a friend who had purchased it new many years before for an astronomical sum, she couldn't remember how much the friend said she paid, but google the designer and maker and you will see this is true QUALITY, Karl Springer has the big name, this lady has one too, just not as well known at THIS time! When i first purchased it, just as a generic, before I spotted the tag,  Phillips Auction estimated it from between 2 and 3 thousand, after I pay the shipping and costs, I get would get about the amount of the Buy It Now if it sold in that range, so I am offering it on Ebay for a low price as it may have done MUCH better, you know auction! I have never had this table up for sale before but need room in the storage, so am offering it with a Buy It Now option and Make Offer option, for Local pickup ONLY, I cannot store AT ALL, 2 or 3 days MAX, for immediate pickup with cash or Paypal I can perhaps accept an offer, for shipping you must write and the shipping attended to by YOU and completed by the 15th of this month, really quick I know, sorry, but I have a time restraint!
