Carte Topographique dAllemagne Map 1788' Description Jaeger was born in 1718 in Nürnberg. He became Captain-Luitenant at the artillery and Inspector of the Arsenals in Frankfurt am Main. Between 1780 and 1790 he assembled a large atlas of Germany consisting of 81 maps. This is map 72. This map is marked top right Feuille LXXII (Leaf No 72). It is about 26 1/2" by 21".
