That said, there is very little about this Chest that speaks to being a reproduction.  Every aspect of this piece from the solid wood construction and figured wood drawer fronts to the incredible finish and patination is beyond any expectations we had when we place this custom order.  The hand planed top on this piece is rich and wonderful to the touch and I feel could stand pride of place in the finest of early California style homes. Normally this piece is sold with a painted finish and hand detailing, which can be seen on their webstie, but for our design we specified this in the tuscan walnut finish with heavy distressing as shown to match other items we ordered for the room, see my other auctions.   Dimensions:  21"D x 53"W x 35"H Weight:  approx. 130lbs.
