It's unusual to see good Sarough rugs these days from 1910, most on the market are from 1930. The rug has complete sides and coplete overcast ends. The fringe is not original and we do not think you need to add to the rug, better with no fringe. The pile is mostly even-high and in very good condition with few low spots if 10"x10" as you can see on the first image.In the images the rug appears like with area of irregularity but it is due to reflection of light, the rug is perfect. Colors: Red background with navy border and gold, teal, light blue, salmon.
