MASSIVE, solid brass or bronze MATCHING antique Door Handles or Pulls in perfect condition! This is the most gorgeous pair of handles I've ever seen. If I had built in paneled refrigerator doors, I would use these as the handles. Original to a Long Island, NY farmhouse they are circa 1880's. They have a wonderful intricate design on every inch of these handles featuring Acanthus leaves, rounded, ribbed and finial details.....just gorgeous! Solid brass and heavy, each one measures 15" long and is 1 and 1/2" across. The round mounting plates are 2 and 1/2" across and they are 8 and 1/4" apart each with two nail holes to attach to a door. Deeply carved with a lot of dimension and detail. Original untouched finish with an honest aged patina. If you are renovating an Eastlake or Victorian home and want authentic hardware, this is it. They would look outstanding in a modern renovation also......use them as closet pulls or refrigerator or warming drawer handles for an elegant look! You will NOT find these at Home Depo or Lowes!
