This is an amazing antique hand hewn trencher that has very old repairs....it makes a fabulous display.  It measures approximately 18 1/2" wide by 56 1/2" long.  You can see on the bottom where there have been metal plates attached to reinforce the wood, as well as staples, and even a small block of wood in the center (visible on the inside).  There is a place on the backside that has rusted through one of the metal plates, but certainly nothing distractive or unexpected.  I haven't cleaned or polished it in any way.  This is a great country primtive that is selling with no reserve, so please don't miss out.  This large trencher weighs approximately 17 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
