However, the name of the recipient of the book is missing in the inscription.   A signature of the Maharsham from Berzen “the small Shalom Mordechai Ha’Cohen Chief of Rabbinical Court of Berzen” appears upon the title page of the book. As well, a few lines in the handwriting of the Maharsham appear on the title page of the book.
