I am pleased to present a beautiful heraldic coat of arms.  According to the research of a fellow eBayer (thanks Nobility House), these are the arms of the Kingdom of Bavaria and Mit Gott für König und Vaterland (With God for King and Fatherland) which was originally the motto of Frederick William III of Prussia.  Prussia ruled Bavaria for some time.   Here is a fabulous, huge, antique Heraldic family coat of arms/crest. This is an amazing piece. It is a wonderful bit of metallic and silk embroidery featuring a stunning central crown with silver studs..and lions rampart..the ground is a white ..there are a few stains, the largest on the upper left on the white ground. You can see this in the photos. Also a bit of color bleed throughout but nothing too terrible. Again, I tried to get closeups of everything for you. You can theoretically trim this from the white ground for the appliques alone..I would do that personally if I were going to make a huge pillow..or else leave alone and frame as is..or trim and mount on velvet before framing..alot of choices for this amazing piece of embroidery.
