This pair of needlework pictures are in very nice shape with exceptional color to the picture of the man. The picture of the woman has lost much of its color but remains in nice physical condition. Very slight stressing to the silk on either side of the man's head (pictured). Slight specs of discoloration to the sky around the woman. Where the color has faded the textiles have taken on a largely gold color to most areas. Ovals measures roughly 6.5 x 9 with the woman being very slightly smaller. The frames are both 10.25 x 12.5 inches. Probably English or American in origin. Late 18th or early 19th century by my estimate. These will ship for $20.00 plus insuance in USA.
