It is 100% cotton.This beautiful design is strongly influenced by Turkish Ottoman textiles.Fortuny was very much inspired by Ottoman motifs and used them many times in his designs.This influence is represented in motifs such as the abstracted carnation and tulip, which are both used in this design.The ground is a mottled grey black with a metallic gold design.The back side of the fabric is also incredibly beautiful--mysterious and interesting (see photo).The fabric measures 25" w  x 22" lThis is a lovely piece and would be great for a pillow and it is also frame worthy.Condition:All fabrics, wallpapers and paintings are sold "as is".
