Scanned at very high resolution and printed at incredible quality on acid free paper, this print is available for $ US 25.00. ( US shipping & handling with insurance $ 6.50) Contact me via eBay for more information regarding purchases. Galleon N.S. de AtochaBritish Admiralty chart # 4402, North Atlantic series "Caribbean Sea" has several great location for a drawing of Nuestra Senora de Atocha simply because she sailed all over it before making her last call to Habana, Cuba.I decided to draw Atocha ,for a change, in fair weather and happily sailing after picking up the very precious, and still missing, Muzo Emeralds from the heavy fortified city of Cartagena , Colombia. ( visible in this chart-drawing just above the lower right corner)Nuestra Senora de Atocha was built in Habana in 1620 and sank about 70 Km West of Key West, in the Dry Tortugas area, on September 6, 1622. Loaded with Gold, Silver, Pearls, Copper, Emeralds and a military cargo, she was found, after 16 years of incredible hard work and determination, by treasure hunter Mel Fisher and his "Golden Crew" on July 20 1985.Nuestra Senora de Atocha displaced 550 tons, had an OL of 112 ft and a beam of 34 ft. She was rigged with square sails on the Foremast and the Mainmast and with a Lateen sail on the Mizzen. The bowsprit had one square sail. This print is a convenient 8" x 10" in size to be easily framed. It is jet ink printed and signed and dated. More than just a print! I individually touch up every print with Ink and Pen to enhance some of the features! All my Drawings are Originals and I use waterproof Inks.Visit my eBay store for more Original Prints and Original Ink and Pen Art work. artattheshop Paolo Nonnis' Biography Artist and musician Paolo Nonnis was born in 1950 in Sardinia, Italy, and graduated from the Cagliari Liceo Artistico in 1969.
