Here is a large female seated figure, nude save for her headdress, tasseled ear-ornaments and body paint.This finely-modeled two-thousand year-old figure is depicted with nubile breasts set well apart, an attenuated face and short, upraised arms. A small vent-hole atop the head insured safe firing of this large and hollow ceramic figure; details are painted with red and brown colors on a buff ground.
