Overall dimensions are 21  ¾ inches  by 16 ½ inches Around the edge of the map there are 18 Black and White engravings of various scenes around London. The scenes are as follows:- New Post Office,  Italian Opera House,  Queen’s New Palace,  Entrance to Hyde Park,  Custom House,  National Scotch Church, Drury Lane Theatre,  Somerset House, Westminster Abbey, Hammersmith Suspension Bridge,  London University,  New London Bridge, Bank of England, Waterloo Bridge, St Pauls, Thames Tunnel,  Covent Garden Theatre and The Colossem. The map is cloth backed and folds up into a hard backed book.  The book measures 4 ½ inches by 6 ¼ inches. The cover has some scuffing to the corners and is well attached to the map ( please see photos for general condition of the cover)   The map was published by James Fraser, 215 Regent Street London and sold through John Bubb Bradford and bears the dealers stamp on the inside cover. The map was dedicated to Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Adelaide. This map is an excellent resource to the geographer, historian or collector.
