Description
Own a piece of Nautical History. This anchor was pulled from the harbor at Gloucester, MA, AMERICA'S OLDEST SEAPORT and site of "THE PERFECT STORM." The anchor is made of heavy-duty galvanized steel and is of forged construction. It is of the "Old-Fashioned" or Kedge type, weighs 14 pounds and measures 19" wide by 30" high. Although it has some rust spots, there can be no question about its solidity, durability, or usefulness for sailing or boating. It also can be used to serve as a lawn or garden ornament. We are a church group just starting out on eBay. All proceeds (except for postage and bare-bones costs) will go to the church. Please contact us in the event that you have any questions. Thank you. HAPPY BIDDING!!
