This beautiful Chinese export silver compote has a nice form with scalloped edge. It is decorated with bright cut flowers in the center with more floral designs along the border and around the footing as well. It is signed on the underside edge of the base, as can be seen in the photo. It weighs 20.75 troy ounces. It dates from the late 19th to the early 20th Century and measures 5 + 1/8 inches tall by 9 + ¾ inches across. It is in excellent condition with no monogram.
