The Serves maker's mark located on the bottom dates this piece ca 1804-1812!!! It's marked on the bottom with worn out wording that is no longer readable. I believe it likely identified the beautiful woman on the front. What a shame its, I would have liked to known who the pretty woman was and her station in life. Back to the front, all the detailed flower arrangements and the beautiful detailing of the woman is all hand painted and all the exceptional paintings are encompassed in very thick decorative gold! Makes this cabinet plate that more special as well as more beautiful! Especially set against the gorgeous shade of green background. The condition is mint with no breaks, cracks, chips or deep scratches.
