Was done by a girl named Maria Evans and is a wonderful poem to Jesus. If not including the frame, the sampler measures 13 3/4" tall x 11 5/8" wide. This sampler has aged beautifully and has sustained barely any damage over its many years. Only parts that I can find with a flaw is the top middle has a little frayed hole and at the very bottom in the middle (shown in photo) has a frayed hole. Both are barely noticeable and really doesn't effect its quality and beauty. The color is a perfect light tan and I see no stains or losses to the work. It is guaranteed of the period and I have no doubt that it is. It is nicely framed and ready for immediate display. I must say that I normally pass up samplers when I see them but this one just caught my eye and I really fell in love with it and I hope you do as well.
