This tribal weaving has highest quality of wool. The design of this lovely piece including seven large medallions one of them latch-hook palmettes in the middle and many other characters such as human figures at large and small size, animals and small geometric designs. The main back ground color including a very nice abrash at rich royal indigo blue color. Variety of pattern panning out to cover all available space was characteristic. Extremely rare design at gorgeous many different colors makes this rug absolutely phenomenal.  All design surrounded by series of borders at different colors. Variety of interesting blues, old green at two different shapes, red at two different shapes, ivory, white, gold, yellow dark and light natural browns make this old Shahsavan so strong and powerful. All colors are natural and 100% vegetal dyes.The condition is perfect without any problems. It was made with wool on wool foundation and both ends and selvages are originally intact with original killims at both ends. It is free of any problems such as: color, stain, repair and odors.
