This Franklin #9 is in beautiful condition as you can see, and it's more scarce than some other Franklin models! I checked each key, and each one works. Some are a little sluggish, but they'll move freely with a little lubrication. Once very nice feature is that the ribbon spools are hidden inside the machine! They're NOT on a vulnerable, sometimes broken, mounting arm that is found on other models. The carriage spaces well, the spacebar works, and the shift keys move the carriage as they should.
