Description
Father Time 21J Lever set wind indicator movement in excellent condition___runs great with all functions working properly. This has the original padded felt lined outer box that has holes for attaching to a surface on each side of it .The double-hinged inner case fits snuggly into the outer box.The outer box has a very unique brass locking mechanism. The leather strap and buckle are still in great shape also. The movement serial # is15540663 which dates it to around 1910 according to my 2000 price guide. The dial has no hairlines or blemishes. This has been in a private collection for a long time and is fresh to the market. I have $ offers in a very wide range for this and thus I am going to set a reserve of $1000.00 on it__my offers have exceded this. You may ask questions through this site and I will answer asap__the best way to get your answers are by calling my cell__336-408-0977and talking to me personally.I am located in the piedmont of North Carolina/ Southwest Virginia.I would prefer to transfer ownership in person___but I will ship with insurance to the US for $40.00.If you are an international bidder___shipping will be actual costs plus $10.00 for packaging. On Jul-15-08 at 18:13:42 PDT, seller added the following information:I have finally been able to get a decent picture of the movement and an image that is on the back of the weighted back__the image is so faint I had not found it before tonight. I made a pencil sketch of the image beside the back. The image shows very faintly in the picture of the back.I hope the movement picture answers some of the questions I have been asked.
