Rests of the retouch are still visible at the left edge of the distal end. Burin blows towards the right edge are delicate, very narrow, very short. The oblique one at the distal end which removed the former retouch was struck last. The other burin is one on break, with three short blows, two of them ending in hinges. The lateral retouch at the right edge is beautiful Raw-material: bright gray-beige flint with some creamy patination Preservation: very well, no modern damages Origin, Site: an Upper Paleolithic settlement site close to Les Eyzies, which was first excavated in the second part of 19th century.We have been listing more interesting paleolithic artifacts, please have a look!
