Description
You are bidding on an antique handmade copper moonshine still. It is round with a lid and a threaded spout. It is 22-1/2" tall and 39" diameter. It has removable lid with attached handles. It also has handles on the still. These handles are the only thing that is not copper. This is an actual still from the depression era that was used to make moonshine during the prohibition. There is very little wear, but you can tell it has been used. I will do my very best to capture the beauty of this wonderful work of art with my photographs. There are no holes or cracks in the still. It has never been cleaned, shined or polished up in any way. This was taken out of commission and put in storage in a basement for over 60 years and was just recently found. Thanks and good luck!On Oct-07-08 at 14:00:52 PDT, seller added the following information:Without the lid, the still is 13-1/2" tall and 12-1/2" wide. When I say 39" in diameter, the tape measure goes completely around the still and equals 39". Thanks!!!~
