Description
Complete victorian library, removed from the former duPont Estate St. Giles circa @ 1898  (Wilmington De.) The room (all in quarter sawn oak) is 27' x 17' wide x 12' 2" high with heavy raised panels and massive crown moulding.The room consists of 10 open face book shelves w/ fluted trim, adjustable shelves, and enclosed cabinets below. Two oval top doors and massive fire place surround completes the room. The room was built by the famous American Car & Foundry , that is known for thier rail and subway car manufacture. Shipping is not included due to the weight and size of the pieces. Shipping may be had on a case by case basis, please email any questions. A three story staircase w/ wain's  coating from the same house is included  . Free packing and loading help is also offered (labor only) The room and other items such as the 3 story staircase  was removed in the late 1970's. The room is complete with period windows, entrance doors and a free standing keystone oak arch-way. The pictures ( sorry for bad quality !) do not show the scale of the fire place, doors, etc., the height of the door arches and fire place mantle is over 11 feet !! (ceiling hight is 12' 2" )  Picture of window is of door transom (beveled glass)
