up for auction ESTATE FIND Antique SOLID PEWTER Miniature LAUDANUM PALM FLASK VERY VERY PRESERVED This VERY OLD MINIATURE PEWTER FLASK was manufactured by HOMAN of Cincinnatti Ohio Cataloged and Sold at an OHIO Civil War Collector's ESTATE AUCTION as LAUDANUM PEWTER MEDICINE FLASK c 1850 LAUDANUM was a working class pain killer made of OPIUM and ALCOHOL in an herbal tincture and VERY ADDICTIVE HOMAN began Pewter manufacturing in 1847 and converted to silverplate in 1887 ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED PATINA Lid is marked HOMAN SOLID PEWTER THREADED Screw-on Cap with Original CORK seal Measures 3" tall x 2" wide x 3/4" thick Fits perfectly into the palm of your hand VERY GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION No dents or issues Surface have scuffs & scratches normal for the age
