A rare and stunning Mintons Art Pottery Moon Flask vase by Dr Christopher Dresser c.1870s Decorated with flora and butterflies and moths on a pale green ground. The shape a Dresser trademark. References: See Widar Halen, ChristopherDresser: A Pioneer of Modern Design, Phaidon Press, 1993, pp117-144 for similar examples.Also Christie's South Kensington, The Harry Lyons Collection, 19 October 200, lot 18 for a very similar piece with restored foot that realised £1314.Size: Height 17 cm Condition: Excellent with minor signs of wear and expected surface crazing. Absolutely no cracks, chips or signs of restoration. With impressed and painted marks to the reverse. Please see photos.
