His growing fascination with Japanese design and visionary concern for function above decoration are most apparent. As you can see the piece in very condition indeed - with just a few extremely minor surface traces of age.A model 2074 bowl appeared among the lots in a major London auction dedicated to Dresser in 2004, Christie's The Harry Lyons Collection (19/10/04, lot 358).
