( 22 by 17 cms / 8.5 by 7 inches). Coggeshall is a town near Colchester, Essex. It is no coincidence that it is similar to Irish Limerick- Coggeshall lace makers introduced this lace to Limerick in 1829. I have added a photograph of a booklet on Coggeshall lace, by Jean Dudding.
