The plates are from drawings by the author and Egron Lundgren. This is Spain and its people as seen by an English traveler and her companions.  It is well written with much colorful, succinct detail about the culture, politics, people, religion, cities and architecture, transportation and accommodations.  It is both laudatory, delighted, critical and/or dismayed in tone.      Condition: Very Good minus.  Professionally rebound in faux leather.  Six pages are repaired with japanese rice paper or archival book tape.  Title page and preface reinforced with archival book tape.  All edges gilt.  Well-illustrated description of Spain, with a folding frontispiece showing the Alhambra.
