Plath equipment...To the best of my knowledge its used to sight horizonal plots by sitting on top of a round deck so it can pivot...It has 2 shade filters, magnify glass, sight line, and locking pivot bar...This comes with a unique wood box and green felt to line it...There are no big scratches, besides on the wood box, but even them arent bad...Everything works great...Great for any nautical collector...If anyone out there knows exactly what this item is called please let me know...But I know C.
