The bottles have ornate floral decors on them. Each bottle is 6 1/4 inches (16 cm) tall and 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm) wide. Condition: for articles that are over 150 years old, the bottles are in very good shape. As are typical of perfume bottles, there are some chips at the bottom of the lids (see picture on 4th row). Also, there is a very thin stable line on the inside-rim of one lid (see picture on 4th row). Of course, the minor condition issues are totally hidden when the lids are put on the bottles and displayed. Both bottles are signed on their bottoms with Jacob Petit's initials. The bottles are also marked in gold enamel, 'Made in France', meaning that they were made for export (see last picture). This is a NO RESERVE auction. Thanks for looking.N.B.
