Description
I am no expert on this subject so I will give you the information I have been told along with measurements and let you decide. Purchased locally from a friend that stated; a tenant that had mined in the Yukon left behind this box with skull and bones.  I have taken them to the local museum curator.  He identified it and said by the length and thickness of the one horn it is probably 25,000 years old or more.  To me, the horn feels to be in a stage of petrification, but again I am no expert. The partial skull and horn weigh approximately 12 lbs. while the 6 bones weigh approximately 8 lbs.  Measurements of the bones are as follows: 3 are approximately 11 inches long 2 are approximately 8.5 inches long 1 is approximately 8 inches long The horn has circumference near the skull of 13.5 inches.  Approximately 21 inches long (outside measure) and 17.75 inches (inside measure). By estimating to the centre of the skull, if it was complete and with the other horn, it would have been approximately 44 inches tip to tip of the horn tips (measured straight across).  Email gottabemine@shaw.ca with any questions. Buyer pays shipping.  Approximately $30.00 to Washington State with amount varying depending on location. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
