Description
Beautiful old 4/4 violin. The side, backand neck were made out of "birdseye maple". The violin is lined and full blocked. The handwritten label inside reads: "Ernst Filp Geigenmacher Schönbach" The length is 59,8cm/ 23,5inch. The body is 35,7cm (14 inch). There is a thin crack at the back, but not at the soundpost or bassbar. (see pic) The scroll is very nice! Instrument needs to be serviced (maybe) and some cleaning.
