Below them is printed THE PHOENIX MUFFLER which is what it once held but no longer. Printed on one end of the lid is MADE ONLY BY PHOENIX KNITTING WORKS MILWAUKEE. The other end of the lid has the color WHITE No.557 The image is in terrific condition with just some tiny, tiny rubs but as you can see displays great. The box itself does have rubs on all corners, worse on top corners but none are ripped thru. Bottom of the box has a slight dent and some faint writing in pencil. Colors are vivid and bright. Nice addition to a vintage candy box, stocking or hosiery box or accessorie box collection. Please email with any questions you may have.
