Beautiful 1848 to 1868 parlor sofa Start Price USD 375.00 Current Price USD 375.00 Time Left 29 days 5 hours 32 minutes Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, October 09, 2008 End Time Friday, February 06, 2009 Location Walnut, Iowa See more about 'Beautiful 1848 to 1868 parlor sofa' Description countrycharm44 Store  This  sofa is in very good condition,  The arms are curved out  and the back is  beautifully curved.  It was reupholstered in the 1960's and has hand made indian crewel cloth on the front.  It is 7 feet long and 3 feet high.  So many of the old sofas were very uncomfortable but this one is very comfortable.  There is plain cloth on the back of the sofa.  The wood is carved in the front lower piece. It is gorgeous wood and except for 2 small places on the top of the curved left side It is in excellent condition.  the 2 places are smaller than a dime, for the age this is very minor.  I had the sofa appraised and they told me it was made between 1848 and 1868.  It has the original castors in the legs. The buyer will be responsible for arranging shipping or picking the sofa up.  It is very hard to find one in this fine condition.
