Description Crab Pot Buoys/Lobster Floats These crab pot floats were beachcombed off the Gulf of Mexico's shoreline. They are styrofoam floats with a diameter of 6 inches. These floats have been given a fresh splash of paint; I have strung them onto beachcombed rope for easy hanging in nautical or beach decor. Beachcombed floats have a rough look given to them by being lost at sea then cast ashore. They may have "bumps, bruises, scrapes or gashes", however, these characteristics only add to their appearance.
