It is matte glazed and looks like old iv. bone.  The box has a hand painted bronze armorial and rose decoration, raised white enamel ornaments and a bronze ormolu mouth. This box is made of very white translucent hard paste porcelain, which does not get any crazing in time. It is written ‘Antoine’ on the lid, and the bottom is marked ‘Made in France’. The box is 4“ x 2 5/8“ x 2“. The condition is excellent; there are no chips or cracks or crazing or scratches. It was acquired on the estate sale and was brown from dirt. See pictures.   The insurance is optional, but highly recommended for the items up to $50.00. The insurance is required for any item higher than $50.00.
