Description I really am not sure what this marvellous Instrument is used for ? A huge piece measuring 11 ins tall and weighs 4 1/2 Kilos !! Possibly Microscopic related ? The Original laquer brass is in excellent condition and I cannot say if it is complete or whether it works ? One of the Lens Barrels is engraved: R. & J. BECK LTD LONDON THORP CRATING and on the Top of the brass main circular brass table is the engraving: John Browning LONDON . also on this rotating base are many engraved numbers and grids.
