It is an Edwardian/ Art Nouveau Era, Manufactured from 1890 to 1899. It has Victorian Fancy Swirls, scalloped frame is solid, strong, and sturdy. It has very fancy Victorian ornate embossed design of Swirls and the Rare Daffodils flowers. The interior top frame  is incised "German Silver" on both sides. The closure closes tight and secure. The inside is lined with leather. The purse itself is mesh and has a few small places on the bottom of it that has come loose and there is a small hole in the mesh also. This is a great old handbag.
