Description No PayPal. This old cribbage board measures 7 1/2" x 2 7/8".  It's hand carved out of bone in the shape of a walrus with dark inlay of some material in the eyes and the dots between each group of peg holes. There are no pegs. The underside is quite rough. Parts of the top are smooth and shiny but the very top is flat, darkened and a bit rough on the cheeks and midsection. I got this at an estate sale and nobody knew anything about it but it looks like a very old piece of folk art to me. The dark inlay material for the eyes and dots looks like what turned out to be baleen in other pieces I've had. This almost cartoon-like animal has a wonderful folk art feel that's hard to convey in the photos. Place a Bid!
