It is set in a pretty garden with hollyhocks, roses and other flowers and a verdant background, on a traditional black base.       It measures 22 1/2 inches across by 21 inches down, there are 2 borders of approximately 2 inches at top and bottom, but at the sides just less than a 1/2 inch.  A few stitches look very slightly frayed but it is strong, complete and there are no holes. Please see the close up photograph of the parrot to see the frayed stitch.
