The two central drawers have a moulding which frames their outer forms to reveal roomy interiors, perfect for your fine silver settings and table linens. The drawers are flanked by doors.  The doors have double raised cathedral arches carved at their centers. The doors open to reveal roomy open compartments perfect for storing your fine china settings.  The sideboard is supported upon splendid vase shaped fluted legs, which are intricately detailed. The piece comes with hardware and I think it is the original hardware, as my Grandmother or I have never changed it. The table and 6 chairs, (including a captain's chair) all match the sideboard buffet to make a complete set.  The table has a built in leaf to make the table larger.  I think the chairs are made of oak and part cherry wood.  This is a beautiful English Victorian gothic dining room set, made with exquisite care by a fine cabinet maker.  It will make a refined statement in your formal dining room.
