Antique Victorian Toleware handpainted fireplace coal box or bin, circa late 1800's. This large container features applied ornate cast iron gold painted handles and feet. It is in very nice condition for given its age. No dents or damage. It measures 23 1/2" tall x 12 1/2" deep x 13" across. There is a Hand painted number on the bottom "MH 11-68", no other markings found. All original with very minor signs of rust around the edges, nothing distracting. there is hooks on the back which a one time held a bracket for fireplace tools. I don't have the bracket. A great for display piece!. THIS IS JUST STUNNING DATED & SIGNED BY ARTIST "MH" 11-68 THIS COULD HAVE BEEN REPAINTED BUT JUST NOT SURE.       IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO DENTS DINGS NICKS, RUST CRACKS OR CHIPS THAT I CAN SEE.
